The $11.2 million, 34,500-square-foot facility is the campus’ new gathering place for alumni, students, and friends. It will become an added amenity for student life, alumni homecomings, and community engagement. It is made possible thanks solely to the generous support of Iowa State University’s alumni and friends, particularly lead donors Roy Reiman (’57 ag journalism) and Bobbi Reiman (’06 honorary alumna). A total of $13.8 million has been contributed for the construction, furnishings and future care of the ISU Alumni Center. “The ISU Alumni Center will help Iowa State better connect with its alumni through the programs and services offered by the Alumni Association,” Jeffery W. Johnson, president of the ISU Alumni Association said. “This facility not only gives the Association visibility but will also help alumni, students, and friends of Iowa State better understand the role of the Association.
